Item: CARLELSBERG
Congratulations
Carlelsberg
Description: On the 8th of August 2009 our friends Carl & Eleanor got married in Suffolk. They asked us to bring some beer and create a special pump clip for them. This was the result.
It was a fantastic day and the beer went down well.
Congratulations to them both.
Location: Suffolk
Item: Beer Naming Competition
And the winner is ……….
Description: As you can probably see from the pump clip the winning name is “Long Hop”. This is a cricketing term used to describe a short delivery which is not especially fast, making it easy for the batsman to hit because he has plenty of time to observe the speed and direction of the ball after the bounce and choose his shot accordingly.
We also liked the association with the beer, and the hops we use in this beer are Goldings and Cascade.
We had 204 entries to the competition and 12 people suggested Long Hop so we will draw two names out of the hat and both will get a voucher for a free 18 pint beer box.
Thank you so everyone who entered and we hope you’ll come down and try the beer. It will be on the bar this evening.
